Jabber is an IM technology based on open Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP). The network doesn't use collective login servers, which means that users can connect to known servers or run their own private Jabber servers for chatting. Jabber protocol enables connecting to Google Talk with Miranda.
