In regards to the reference to "backup" - I am still learning Miranda. Could someone advise what exactly I should copy? Is it the .txt profile I created in the same folder as the latest Miranda exe? Many thanks, Laura Hensley

- "A profile (database) is a data file with a .dat extension..." Just copy it to a safe location. The article describes where to look for the file. (This kind of questions belong to support. I don't know how the article could be any more clear.) -- ASSami
